For over 14 years Polyfab Australia has been supplying quality shadecloth for shadesails and shade structures into the commercial and domestic consumer market. In addition, we also supply polypropylene and polyethylene fabrics for the horticultural, agricultural and industrial fabric markets. These include knitted reinforcement scrims, windbreak and shade/ UV. protection fabrics. Polyfab also supplies a range of innovative products including Heavy Duty 95% Shadecloth. Polyfab supplies canopy protection covers to protect table and wine grapes from rain damage, horticultural igloo covers to the flower and vegetable industry, anti bird netting, weed control and wind protection fabrics, and oyster shade fabrics to protect young oysters on the Hawkesbury River system in New South Wales. Polyfab's involvement in the civil/local government building industry, includes reinforced concrete underlay, scaffold protection and soil stabilisation for embankments and reclamation areas around beach resorts and sand dunes. Polyfab's latest developments include reinforcement scrims used in the lamination of Aluminium insulation foil, for roof and wall cladding into the building industry, and their new Flame Retardant Shadecloth. Polyfab also imports products from a number of its factories throughout South East Asia, UK, and Korea. Preference is given to suppliers who have gained Quality Assurance Approval to ISO 2002. Barry Jamieson joined Polyfab as General Manager/Director in August 1996. He had been employed for fourteen years, in the area of sales and marketing for two of Australia's leading manufacturers of Horticultural, Agricultural and Industrial Fabrics, and brought with him a wealth of knowledge about the markets and customer requirements. Polyfab Australia's office and warehouse facilities are situated in the heart of the commercial industrial area of Carrum Downs, which is a suburb, not far from the Melbourne CBD.
